Welcome back 2021-2022
My name is Dan Allinder and I am thrilled to be the new Principal at Hernandez Elementary. I come to you as a partner in your child's education and I look forward to meeting every family at Hernandez. A new program that I am starting is called “Coffee with the Principal”. Starting in September, one Friday a month, I will invite families to come and speak with me (virtually at first) about any concerns you may have and you can hear from me the great things that are happening in our school. I will send information the week before each “Coffee with the Principal”, so that you can tune in! I look forward to seeing you!
Our staff is ready to work with you and provide your child with the best education possible. I want to remind everyone that in order to keep the school safe, healthy, and open for in person learning we must adhere to the mask mandate and our school safety plan. You can find that plan
here. All meetings at this point, with myself or teachers, should be virtual. If that isn’t an option we can schedule an in person meeting, following all safety guidelines.
This year will bring challenges, no doubt, but I know that by working together and doing what is best for the child we can have a safe, happy, successful year. Feel free to reach out to me via email
